Ivy Broadway is an American artist, rapper, and songwriter. Originally from South central and raised in Compton, she first gained her exposure from freestyling to one of her friends which led to her passion for rapping. Finding her lane with her expressive rapping and freestyling capabilities show her range and creative thought process as an artist.

 

Ivy made her presence known with her "Front Desk Freestyle," which was followed by a slew of other notable tracks such as Said Sum and Toot That.  She signed to Legend Records in March of 2019, releasing her first project as a signed artist in October called, Desk Job.  Ivy’s Debut single Pretty Girl $moke is set to be released mid November (2020) on all major platforms, accompanied by the official Music Video to showcase a visual of her new vibrant sound with her catchy lyrics.

Throughout her career Ivy has been featured in multiple shows and even gracing American Idol. Growing up Ivy found herself intrigued with R&B as well as popular multi-genre artists such as Nicki Minaj and the west coast wave of music.  Though inspired by a wide variety of music, Ivy still creates her own unique sound.  She is currently working on her debut EP Lunch Break which set to release by the end of the year.

 

Wanting the world to know she is a serious artist with a lot of versatility, Ivy is working on rap projects as well as R&B projects. Wanting to eventually expand to Rock and other genres she hopes her fans will listen and grow with her through her journey.
